Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Spokane Sector, Mission Readiness Operations, located in Spokane, WA. What You'll Do
- →In this position, you will provide logistics, supply, fleet, facilities, and administrative support by assisting with property inventories and reports, procurement documentation, fleet records and repairs, invoice reconciliation, fuel and mileage tracking, facility repair requests, and related mission support activities.
- →Your work directly supports the agency mission by helping ensure sector logistics, fleet, and facility requirements are met, improving operational efficiency, and reducing workflow issues that could affect U.S.
- →Border Patrol mission readiness.
- →This position starts at a salary of $50,723.00 (GS-7, Step 1) to $80,662.00 (GS-9, Step 10) with promotion potential to $80,662.00 (GS-9, Step 10).

- →As a Mission Support Specialist (Logistics), you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, guidance, and administrative support for logistics, supplies, fleet, and facilities management programs.
- →Typical duties will include: Assisting with processing lost, stolen, destroyed, or missing personal property, conducting inventories, maintaining records, and preparing property reports.
- →Researching suppliers, coordinating with requesters, preparing procurement documentation, and submitting purchase requests for approval.
- →Supporting fleet management activities, including ordering, receiving, inventorying, transferring, excessing vehicles, maintaining fleet records, and coordinating vehicle repairs and scheduled service.
- →Reconciling invoices and assisting with fleet card program administration, audits, fraud reporting, override requests, license plates, Home-to-Work documentation, vehicle insurance, fuel deliveries, mileage tracking, and safety inspections.
- →Coordinating facility repair requests, telephone system changes, and environmental, security, and safety inspection tracking in the facilities management system.
