Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Laredo Sector, Sector Headquarters, located in Laredo, TX. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

- →This position starts at a salary of $52,413.00 (GS-7, Step 1) to $83,349.00 (GS-9, Step 10).

- →The Mission Support Specialist (Generalist) provides direct advice and guidance to employees, develops new or modified program work methods, approaches, or procedures, and performs the broadest and most significant mission support duties.
- →Duties and responsibilities include: Contributing to the formulations and implementation of policies relating to the sector workforce management and position management policy, procedures and other matters affecting U.S.
- →Border Patrol workforce administrative programs.
- →Initiating timely and accurate personnel-related actions related to promotions, reassignments, transfers, retirements, awards, timecards, and leave.
- →Providing local agency direction and facilitating the creating, accepting, modifying and transferring of personal property records in accordance with U.S.
- →Border Patrol directives.
- →Conducting records management and producing various fleet reports.
Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
