About the Role

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Tucson Sector, Nogales Station, located in Nogales, AZ. This announcement will be open for 5 business days OR until the first 75 applications have been received, whichever happens first.   • In this Mission Support Specialist (Generalist) role, you will carry out a wide variety of mission support, workforce management, staffing and position management, administrative research, logistics, and other program planning activities related to the missions and functions of the agency.
  • Typical duties and responsibilities include: Conducting records management for various activities, performing audits, and extracting reports.
  • Preparing briefings and reports for management to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommending future operational needs.
  • Developing detailed plans, goals, and objectives for program implementation, and developing criteria for evaluating effectiveness of current and proposed processes.
  • Coordinating inter-related issues involving personnel management and administrative circumstances and/or situations.
  • Formulating, presenting, monitoring, advising, and reporting on the division and sector's workforce management programs, planning, and performance planning operations.
