Organizational Location: This position is with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR), Investigative Operations Division (IOD) located in one of the following locations: Detroit, MI Indianapolis, IN Los Angeles, CA San Francisco, CA Washington, DC. What You'll Do

- →The incumbent of this position independently performs assignments and provides advice, assistance, and guidance to supervisors, managers, and employees on a variety of complex and sensitive administrative matters.
- →The incumbent also provides support and guidance on a variety of mission support processes, including budget, procurement, personnel, telecommunications, hiring and staffing, logistics, fleet and facilities, records management, training, travel, and property.
- →This position starts at a salary of $89,508.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $116,362.00 (GS-12, Step 10).

- →Major Duties include: Managing the badge and credential needs of employees within the assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR), serving as the primary point of contact for all related correspondence, maintaining accurate records, coordinating issuance and turn-in, and ensuring proper physical control and documentation of all items.
- →Providing advice, assistance, and guidance to supervisors, managers, and employees on a variety of complex and sensitive administrative support processes, including budget, procurement, personnel, telecommunications, hiring and staffing, logistics, records management, training, travel, and property.
- →Serving as a purchase cardholder responsible for creating purchase orders, reconciling statements, accepting goods and services, purchasing office supplies and equipment, compiling bids, and processing recurring invoices in accordance with budget plans.
- →Acting as the Local Property Officer, responsible for conducting physical inventories, assigning inventory tasks, reconciling and certifying inventory results, and ensuring accurate property records and accountability.
- →Advising employees on a variety of personnel and payroll matters, directs inquiries to appropriate resources as needed, and prepares documentation for internal promotions, grievances, and personnel actions.
