Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S Border Patrol, Swanton Sector, Ogdensburg Station, located in Ogdensburg NY.
What You'll Do
- →In this Mission Support Specialist role, you will become a key team member of Homeland Security individuals involved in performing a wide variety of administrative, research, and analytical duties and special assignments related to the missions and functions of the agency.
- →This position starts at a salary of $61,722.00 (GS-09, Step 1) to $80,243.00 (GS-09, Step 10) GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area.

- →Typical duties of this assignment include: Assisting in providing direct advice and guidance to USBP employees at headquarters and throughout the sector and independently coordinates the work of the assigned office for all administrative duties to include budget, inventory, property, fleet, workforce management, workers compensation, payroll, and travel.
- →Performing basic database queries to conduct analysis of data used by management.
- →Serving as the assigned sector supplies specialist and facilitates tracking and support in maintaining vehicle board with current mileage, assigned agent, and next service due.
- →Completing monthly purchase card statement reconciliation.
