Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Laboratories and Scientific Services located in Ashburn, VA. Additional selections may be made for other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →The Mission Support Specialist (GS-0301-13) provides expert administrative, management, and program planning support to leadership within CBP's Laboratories and Scientific Services, handling workforce management, budget, procurement, property, and related mission support functions.
- →The role delivers authoritative advice and develops solutions for complex, sensitive issues impacting office operations.
- →This position directly supports the agency's mission by ensuring efficient and effective administrative operations that enable CBP to achieve its program goals.
- →This position starts at a salary of $121,785.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10).
