About the Role

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, San Francisco Field Office, located in Honolulu, HI.

What You'll Do

  • This position will allow you to use your expertise in administration to provide advisory and technical services to CBP management.
  • Apply for this exciting opportunity to strengthen the Department's ability to perform homeland security functions by analyzing and refining existing work methods and developing new methods and procedures.
  • This position starts at a salary of $64,438.00 (GS-9, Step 1) to $101,359.00 (GS-11, Step 10).

  • This is a multi-faceted position that will allow you to apply a wide range of administrative programs concepts, laws, policies, practices and analytical methods to address technical issues or problems.
  • Your major duties will include: Performing assignments requiring the application of fundamental principals, concepts, techniques, and guidelines in administrative specialty area(s).
  • Conducting detailed planning to gather and interpret information and data for complex problems, issues, and unusual circumstances.
  • Determining most effective and efficient approach to meet customer requirements.
  • Participating in complex studies and projects designed to develop broader expertise in the assigned specialty area(s).
  • Participating in analyzing the effects of changes in law and regulations as they pertain to management services.

Requirements

  • You must be a U.S.
