Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, Buffalo Field Office, located in Alexandria Bay, New York. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →This position will allow you to use your expertise in administration to provide guidance and technical advice in a variety of mission support functional areas.
- →Apply for this exciting opportunity to strengthen the Department's ability to protect the homeland by analyzing and refining existing work methods and developing new methods and procedures.
- →This position starts at a salary of $61,722.00 (GS-09, Step 1) to $80,243.00 (GS-09, Step 10) In this position, you will strengthen the Department's ability to protect the homeland by becoming a valuable member of a team of administrative professionals.
- →Your job will include: Performing management advisory services for specific requests related to mission support functional areas for a Field Office or Port of Entry.
- →Performing assignments requiring the application of fundamental principles, concepts, techniques, and guidelines in an administrative specialty area(s).
- →Assessing relevant facts from several sources, examining documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and procedures.
- →Resolving a moderate range of problems or situations requiring the use of established analytical techniques.

Requirements
