Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Air and Marine Operation located in Jacksonville, FL or Corpus Christi, TX. This announcement will be open for 5 business days OR until the first 75 applications have been received, whichever happens first. What You'll Do
- →Join Customs and Border Protection and utilize your expertise as a Mission Support Specialist (Generalist) planning and executing a wide variety of administrative, management and program planning, activities, policy research and other duties related to mission support functions.
- →This position starts at a salary of $74,678.00 (GS-11, Step 1) to $116,362.00 (GS-12, Step 10).
- →Salary: Salary listed reflects the rest of U.S. scale and, if applicable, will be adjusted to meet the locality pay or cost of living expenses of the duty location upon selection.

- →Typical duties include: Briefing management on various budget issues with regards to AMO policy, purchase requirement and restrictions, budget deficit/surplus, and recommending resolutions to all budgetary issues.
- →Paying invoices in a timely manner and resolving issues as needed ensuring all purchases are made in accordance with the Anti-Deficiency Act (ADA).
- →Reviewing travel authorizations and vouchers for correctness.
- →Assisting employees with their travel document submissions.
- →Providing a wide range of administrative support to the Local Property Officer, Vehicle Officer (VCO)and Human Capital Mission Support Specialist.
