About the Role

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, Tucson Field Office, Port of San Luis, AZ. Additional selections may be made for other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

What You'll Do

  • This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S.
  • Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations (OFO).
  • In this position, you would provide guidance and technical advice in a variety of mission support functional areas for a Field Office or Port of Entry.
  • This position starts at a salary of $61,722.00 (GS-09, Step 1) to $97,087.00 (GS-11, Step 10) GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area.

  • Duties include: Performing assignments requiring the application of fundamental principles, concepts, techniques, and guidelines in an administrative specialty area(s).
  • Conducting detailed planning to gather and interpret information and data for complex problems, issues, and unusual circumstances.
  • Participating in analyzing the effects of changes in law and regulations as they pertain to management services.
  • Identifying and clarifying problems and order to propose recommendations.
  • Defining issues or problems in terms that are compatible with appropriate laws, policies, or regulations.
