What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a Merchant Mariner Course Evaluator (Engine) and be responsible for performing the content review, approval, and oversight of training courses, programs, instructors, assessors, designated examiners and examination proctors and develops and administers knowledge-based competency examinations for all credentialed U.S.

- →Analyzing and interpreting maritime laws, regulations, and policies relevant to mariner credentialing.
- →Developing and recommending solutions for issues affecting course approval and mariner licensing.
- →Communicating complex regulatory requirements clearly in written and oral formats.
- →Preparing professional correspondence and technical material on maritime training and credentialing.

- ✓Merchant Mariner credential in the grade of Second Assistant Engineer, Unlimited or higher or the equivalent military experience as Assistant Engineer Officer/Chief Engineer and as a qualified Engineering Officer of the Watch on vessels of greater than 4000 HP.
