About the Role
Employee will serve as a Medical Technician - Phlebotomist within Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service. This announcement supports positions at the Veterans Affairs Clinics in Daytona Beach, FL and Orlando, FL Applicant will choose their preference for consideration.
What You'll Do
- →Prepares samples for testing to include labeling, centrifugation, decanting and aliquoting, etc.
- →Perform other related duties as assigned Work Schedule: Daytona Beach: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm.
- →May include extended hours based on the service needs.
- →Orlando: Full-Time, Tuesday-Saturday OR Sunday-Thursday, 4:00am - 12:30pm with rotating weekends, holidays, and extended leave hours based on the service needs.
- →DESIGNATED DRUG-TESTING POSITION: Applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
- →Applicants who refuse to be tested will be denied employment with VA.
- →Applicants will not be appointed to the position if a verified positive drug test result is received.
