About the Position: This position is within the Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center, Director for DMS. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Perform routine clinical and administrative duties under the direct supervision of a nurse, physician and/or a healthcare administrator.
- →Register patients upon arrival to the Emergency Department.
- →Schedule routine, regular, and follow up appointments with patient's primary medical doctor of clinic on an as needed basis Schedule same-day sick call appointments for active duty patients who meet criteria.
- →Prepare reports based upon the requirements specified and the intended use of the data or report.
- →Generate data on a daily, weekly, monthly and on demand basis to identify trends impacting on appointment availability and the efficient delivery of primary and urgent healthcare.
- →Receive all patients and make a determination as to disposition.
