The position is located in the Patient Registration Section of the Business Office (BO) of the Rosebud Comprehensive Healthcare Facility in Rosebud, SD. This section provides registration and eligibility services, the key points for interaction with patients to obtain and process demographic and insurance information for alternate resources, purchased/referred care, and private/commercial insurance. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do

- →Assist patients in completing forms and review for accuracy and completeness.
- →Verify patient third party eligibility documents (i.e.
- →Medicare, Medicaid and/or private insurance).
- →Identify patients who do not have alternate resources and assigns them to the appropriate Patient Benefits Coordinator.
Requirements

- ✓Citizenship is required Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 This is a designated position covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children.
