About the Position: This position is a satellite clinic for Bassett Army Community Hospital located in Fort Richardson, Alaska. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Federal employees in Alaska are currently entitled to receive a 1.49% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. This is subject to change.
What You'll Do
- →Perform the full range of receptionist, recordkeeping and miscellaneous clerical duties.
- →Complete request forms, manually or automated, for individual patient orders, blood work and other requests.
- →Coordinate and/or schedule patient services with other MTF departments or specialties.
- →Maintain and monitor patient appointment or admission schedules for the assigned area.
- →Monitor and communicate delays in scheduled care to the appropriate staff and patients.
- →Complete request forms, manually or automated, for individual patient orders, blood work and other requests.
