About the Position: This position is located at Raymond W Bliss Army Health Center in Fort Huachuca, Arizona. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Perform the full range of receptionist, recordkeeping and miscellaneous clerical duties within the MTF.
- →Enter, manipulate and/or retrieve information and data from automated systems as appropriate to the area assigned.
- →Receive patients and visitors as the initial point of contact, in person or telephonically.
- →Obtain identifying information and determines the nature of the visit or admission.
- →Ensure eligibility for care, and contact Patient Administration for verification.
- →Maintain all patients' records, both electronic and paper, according to regulations, ensuring each entry contains proper patient and health care provider identification.
- →Ensure the patient completes all necessary forms prior to receiving care.
- →Perform clerical duties inherent to the in-processing (reception/admission), care and out processing (transition/discharge) of patients, families/caregivers and guests.
- →Respond to emergency calls and notifies emergency medical personnel.
