About the Role
About the Position: Serves as a Medical Support Assistant (Office Automation) performing duties in support of the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) and its geographic area of responsibility. This position is located with the Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, NC. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide information to patients, family members, staff, etc. on the practice, clinic, and hospital policies, procedures, and locations.
- →Perform the full range of receptionist, recordkeeping, and miscellaneous clerical duties (scheduling appointments, greeting the patients, answering telephones, taking messages, etc.) in a clinic or Medical Treatment Facility.
- →Receive patients and visitors as the initial point of contact, in person or telephonically for the clinic.
- →Record and relays messages and/or redirect calls, as necessary to appropriate staff.
- →Utilize automated office or healthcare systems to schedule patient appointments; update, enter, or retrieve patient information; or complete clerical duties.
- →Maintain patient records, both electronic and hard copy, according to policies, procedures, and medical treatment facility regulations.
