About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Fort Polk, Louisiana. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Perform the full range of receptionist, record-keeping and miscellaneous clerical duties within the ambulatory setting.
- →Complete request forms, manually or automated, for individual patient orders, blood work and other requests.
- →Receive patients and visitors as the initial point of contact, in person or telephonically.
- →Maintain all patients' records, both electronic and paper, according to regulation ensuring each entry contains proper patient and health care provider identification.
- →Perform clerical duties inherent to the in-processing (reception), care and out-processing (transition) of outpatients, families/caregivers and guests.
- →Notify appropriate staff of the patient's arrival.
- →Respond to emergency calls and notifies emergency medical personnel.
- →File original medical documentation in the patients' record, and copies of medical documentation into research files as necessary.
