About the Position: This position is located at the 59th Medical Wing - Joint Base San Antonio - Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center; Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Perform the full range of receptionist, record keeping and miscellaneous clerical duties within the ambulatory setting.
- →Enter, manipulate and/or retrieve information and data from automated systems as appropriate to the area assigned.
- →Receive patients and visitors as the initial point of contact, in person or telephonically.
- →Monitor and communicate delays in scheduled appointments to the appropriate staff and patients.
- →Maintain all patients' records, both electronic and paper, according to regulation ensuring each entry contains proper patient and health care provider identification.
