About the Role
About the Position: This position is a Medical Support Assistant located in Family Practice Medical Home one of the three Port Teams, Family Medicine, Director Branch Clinic, who serves as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the initial point of contact for patients presenting for appointments.
- →Schedules appointments for patients requiring a variety of examinations.
- →Record keeping, answering telephones, appointment booking, and patient check-in.
- →Obtains and confirms pertinent information and purpose of the visit, Receives and responds to phone calls and inquiries from patients concerning a variety of medical, personnel, and administrative matters, determines general nature of inquiry and independently responds to all administrative questions
