About the Position: This position is located at Fort Riley, Kansas. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Receive patients being admitted to the medical treatment facility.
- →Interview patients to initiate inpatient records and admission.
- →Check eligibility for treatment (DEERS check, ID card, etc.) Monitor the Pre-admission patients on a daily basis, entering data into systems upon notification that patient will be admitted.
- →Perform general administrative tasks such as maintenance of a functional filing system, compiling recurring reports, maintaining office supplies and initiating replenishment requests.
- →Operate an automated office information processing system (computer, printer, etc), to produce, store and process information material.
