The primary purpose of this position is to serve as part of the Advanced Medical Support Assistant (AMSA) Team, within the Call Center, aligned within Health Administration Service at the Amarillo VA Health Care System (AVAHCS), Amarillo, Texas. The VA Health Administration service is diverse and broad ranging across multiple sites of care. Health Administration is comprised of multiple professional and technical staff who are deployed across all sites of care.
What You'll Do
- →VA Careers - Medical Support Assistant: https://youtube.com/embed/EE9c4XkaELo Coordinates with the patient care team to review clinic appointment availability (utilization) to ensure that clinic schedules are closely monitored to effectively support the needs of the clinics, and adjusts as necessary.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) Telework: This is an onsite position.
- →Telework may be offered when deemed necessary by the department AD-HOC (Employees who telework on an occasional, episodic, or short-term basis, and have completed required telework training and telework agreement.)
