About the Role
The Medical Support Assistant (Advanced) position is located at Audie L. Murphy VAMC in San Antonio, Texas within Community Care Service. South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) is a quaternary care facility and Level II Research Facility, with multiple community outpatient clinics.
What You'll Do
- →Duties may include but are not limited to: -Coordinates each request for Community Care to ensure all required and necessary administrative actions are completed. -Communicates with Community care providers to identify clinic and specialty availability.
- →Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a.m. to 4:00p.m. or 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m.
- →Telework: Ad-hoc Virtual: This is not a virtual position.

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen to apply for this job.
- ✓Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- ✓Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
- ✓Subject to background/security investigation.
