About the Position: Army Health Clinic Kenner; Fort Lee, VA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Use various systems to track, collect, and analyze data for performance improvement and risk management.
- →Prepare clinical event summaries for hospital leadership.
- →Retrieve and codes medical records using the International Classification of Diseases (ICD).
- →Use electronic health record (EHR) systems to evaluate data trends and key performance indicators.
- →Apply basic statistical techniques to present data results.
- →Maintain the systems for reporting incidents and clinical events.
- →Manage and files electronic and hard copy records to ensure information is complete and accessible.
- →Ensures security, confidentiality, and proper release of information in accordance with Health Insurance Portability Accountability Standards (HIPAA), the Privacy Act, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
- →Provide summarized data from automated systems to supervisors and medical personnel.
