About the Role
About the Position: Parking is limited but telework may be an option. Hours are from 7-8:30 am to 3:30-5 pm Monday through Friday. Applicants can experience being part of a large team that contributes to the delivery of outstanding medical care to military members and their families. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Assign codes to all final diagnoses, procedures, and operations for medical appointments.
- →Select most applicable medical procedure in the hierarchy of surgical classes within its major diagnostic category.
- →Contact appropriate medical staff members to rectify inconsistencies, deficiencies, and discrepancies in medical documentation.
- →Identify specific clinical findings, support existing diagnoses, and substantiate additional diagnoses in the medical record.
