THIS POSITION IS A TEMPORARY PROMOTION NOT TO EXCEED (NTE) 30 DAYS. SUPERVISORY APPROVAL IS REQUIRED. TEMPORARY PROMOTION MAY BE EXTENDED DEPENDING ON THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE. This position is in the Health Administration Service (HAS) of the VA Illiana Heath Care System (VAIHCS), Danville Il. VAIHCS is a Complexity Level 3 facility. This position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating major administrative aspects of substantive, mission-oriented programs
What You'll Do
- →Develops a quality customer focused section whereby personnel establish and maintain good relations with Veterans, their families, visitors, and clinical and administrative employees Handles conflict and problems in dealing with the customer constructively and appropriately Develops and administers a formal, systematic performance improvement plan for reviewing, appraising, and improving.
- →Facility liaison on medical administrative issues Responsible for full authority of fund control points Handles the recruitment of employees for a wide variety of technical and administrative disciplines.
- →Encourages/establishes training programs, career development programs and compliance to annual performance measures.
- →Analyzes workload, and recommends additional FTEE, makes changes in work distribution, and standardizes processes through development of policies and procedures Work Schedule: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday Virtual: This is not a virtual position.

Requirements
