What You'll Do
- →Serves as Mechanical Engineer in DLA Chief of Staff, DLA Installation Management (DM), Management Support Office (DS-M), Task Force Support Office (TFSO - HH-SMB), Engineering Division.
- →Facilitates transitions through the project execution phase and serves as Project Manager as well as a key resource during all stages of project implementation.
- →Manages high level mechanical engineering programs and projects and provides advice to a diverse group of engineers, scientists, and trades contractors.
- →Collaborates with stakeholders and leads discussions regarding project requirements, needs, limitations, constraints, and functionality to determine the most economical solution to meet the operational needs of the program occupants.
- →Manages all aspects of high level engineering and construction programs'/project's finances and expenditures for the client including preparation, negotiation, presentation, approval, and communication of pricing.
- →Manages assigned design, construction and alteration projects.
- →Negotiates and coordinates project plans, budget objectives, and schedules with management of affected customer agencies to establish and/or manage customer expectations.
