You will serve as a MATERIALS HANDLER INSPECTOR in the ORDNANCE OPERATIONS DIVISION of NMC CWD DET SEAL BEACH.
What You'll Do
- →You will assure the quality and safety of ordnance material and operations.
- →You will perform receipt and issue inspection of ordnance items and certify them as ready for issue.
- →You will obtain and maintain inspection and quality certifications.
- →You will construct, place, sheath and install wooden blocks, wedges, bracing structures, partition bulkheads, deck boxes and other staying devices.
- →You will determine the detail locations within storage facilities and assure proper stowage of cargo within vessels per load plan.
- →You will offload and onload ordnance materials from trucks, rail cars, vessels and other conveyances using forklifts, manual and mechanized pallet jacks, side loaders and stacker cranes.
