About the Role
You will serve as a Marine Machinery Mechanic Leader in the Shop 38F Air and Hydraulics of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
What You'll Do
- →You will direct the overhaul, maintenance, repair, installation, and repair of submarine machinery systems and equipment.
- →You will evaluate the quality of equipment assembly, installation, and repair work performed by marine machinery personnel.
- →You will lead a team of marine machinery trade journeymen in the performance of repairs and alterations to support machinery related operations.
- →You will train junior employees on the use and operation of tools and equipment for marine machinery repair, installation, or maintenance.
- →You will comply with safety precautions or operating instructions for performing work on marine machinery and equipment.
- →You will interpret sketches to determine the tools needed to complete marine machinery work.
- →You will work from blueprints, sketches, procedures, overhaul manuals, and other technical work specifications to accomplish assigned marine machinery tasks.
- →You will comply with directions from higher graded personnel to perform basic or repetitive shop functions.
- →You will follow written instructions, sketches, blueprints, or specifications to complete assigned task.
- →You will train marine machinery personnel on the correct usage of materials or equipment.
- →You will lay out, install, align, overhaul, repair and maintain numerous types of marine machinery equipment and systems.
