You will serve as a MARINE MACHINERY MECHANIC in the PORT OPERATIONS DIVISION of NAVBASE KITSAP SILVERDALE WA.
What You'll Do
- →You will operate machine shop equipment (e.g., drill presses, shapers, bench grinders, power hacksaws) to complete marine machinery repairs.
- →You will detect and correct malfunctions in marine machinery using measuring devices and test equipment.
- →You will work in partnership with key management personnel to provide status and resolve work problems.
- →You will determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to assist with marine machinery repairs.
