What You'll Do
- →You will interpret blueprints and drawings to verify the required repairs are made on marine machinery.
- →You will use visual aids and test equipment (e.g., compression gauges, timing gauges, manometers, injector testing machines) to locate and repair worn, dirty, or maladjusted machinery components and parts.
- →You will disassemble, inspect, repair, overhaul, and modify marine machinery or equipment prior to, during, and after completion of testing to verify all components are operating at an optimum.
- →You will troubleshoot marine machinery equipment to identify if trade material, tools, or equipment is defective, not operating properly, or not within operation specifications.
