Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Enterprise Services, Immediate Office of the Executive Assistant Commissioner, Administrative Services Division. Location: Negotiable after your selection. (Must report to a CBP Facility) The open period for this job opportunity announcement may be extended to allow for a sufficient applicant pool.
What You'll Do
- →Joining Customs & Border Protection (CBP), Administrative Services Division, will allow you to serve as a Senior Advisor to management assessing the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of human capital efforts resolving complex problems related to position management, staffing and placement, performance management, awards, and worker's compensation.
- →This position starts at a salary of $106,437.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $138,370.00 (GS-13, Step 10) GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area.

- →Major Duties: Collaborating with other internal and external staff to ensure the successful implementation of Workforce Care tasks and adherence to internal and external requirements.
- →Serving as a "gatekeeper," the incumbent helps to develop and nurture relationships both internal and external to the Directorate, requiring excellent interpersonal skills.
- →Identifying, recommending, and demonstrating effective methods and techniques for managers and supervisors to use in improving information flow and assignments with Division Leadership in day to-day requests.
- →Establishing and maintaining a strong working relationship with a variety of program officials at Headquarters, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- →Ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard, and that leadership is kept informed of progress and any potential issues.
