This position is in Education Service (EDU). The Service has department-wide responsibility for activities relating to administering VA educational assistance programs to Veterans, Service members, National Guard and Reserve members, and eligible dependents for their military service to the Nation. This mission is accomplished by providing financial assistance, generally in the form of monthly benefit payments, as mandated in Title 38 and Title 10, United States Code.
What You'll Do
- →Specific duties include: The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of administrative activities and providing technical support to the Executive Management Officer, who relies heavily on judgment and recommendations made by this individual.
- →Assists in providing guidance and assistance in matters of management practices and procedures related to personnel administration, budget management, office program planning work, administrative and support services, and management improvement studies.
- →Responsibilities also include coordinating activities with VA and other VBA offices and tracking/managing the day-to-day administrative activities and assignments for the Executive Management Officer.

Requirements
