This vacancy is for a Management And Program Analyst (Recent Graduate) in the National Telecommunications and Information Administration within the Department of Commerce.
What You'll Do
- →As a Management And Program Analyst (Recent Graduate), you will perform the following duties: Prepare materials for workflow and operational analysis, cost studies, and/or equipment utilization regarding system and data requirements of various program areas.
- →Draft correspondences and reports based on existing policies, procedures, observation and program requirements of the office and department.
- →Provide technical assistance to customers regarding basic system operational matters.
- →Participate in program studies and analysis of operations to achieve greater economy and efficiency.
- →Make recommendations for improving methods in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- →Advises on the adequacy of equipment, property and space within the department.
- →This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other Management And Program Analyst (Recent Graduate) GS-0343-7, FPL GS-12 positions within the Department of Commerce in the same geographical location with the same qualifications and specialized experience.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must have completed, within the previous two-years, a qualifying associate's, bachelor's, master's, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution.
- ✓Exceptions are made for veterans, as defined in 5 USC 2108 , who, due to military service obligations, were precluded from applying to the Recent Graduate Program during the two-year eligibility period described above.
- ✓Veterans have a full two-year period of eligibility upon their release or discharge from active duty.
- ✓The eligibility period shall not extend beyond six years from the date of academic completion.
- ✓This position is being recruited with an opportunity for non-competitive conversion eligibility to a permanent OR term position upon completion of all Recent Graduate program requirements.
- ✓Conversion is not mandatory nor guaranteed (see Other Information).
- ✓You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position.
- ✓You must successfully pass a background investigation.
