Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Human Resources Management, Planning, Program Analysis, and Evaluation Directorate Located in: Indianapolis, IN Minneapolis, MN Washington D.C. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →This position oversees the application of Federal contracting laws, regulations, and policies throughout all phases of the acquisition process, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
- →This position starts at a salary of $106,437.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $138,370.00 (GS-13, Step 10).
- →Typical Work duties include: Overseeing a spectrum of Federal contracting laws, executive orders, regulations, principles, policies, procedures, methods, techniques, and contract types applicable to both pre-award and post-award contracting actions.
- →Serving as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), provides expert guidance on contract selection, negotiation, administration, and closeout, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements while optimizing resource utilization.
- →Developing and executing strategic plans, program budgets, and performance metrics to align with organizational goals and objectives.
