What You'll Do
- →If selected at the GS-12 level, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity: Utilizes financial reporting and accounting procedures and mechanisms ensuring procedures are sound and maintain necessary internal controls.
- →Prepares and submits a wide variety of financial reports, statements, and data of both factual and analytical nature; Identifies any system issues, process, cross process or other deficiencies, and works on process improvement projects.
- →Prepares budgetary status and expenditure progress reports and budgetary support memoranda in accordance with directives and guidance.
- →Assists budget analysts with the formulation of the annual budget submission through completion of all ancillary and supporting budget tasks.
- →Serves as the on-site point of contact for the management of the Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC) program and provides card holders with required training requirements.
- →Processes commercial, travel and operational payments in accordance with Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) voucher payment procedures and timelines and the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and DODFMR Vol 5
