About the Position: This position supports the mission of the Defense Health Agency, Combat Support, Medical Logistics Directorate, Medical Materiel Standardization Division, Pharmaceutical Program Management Branch and it is located in Ft. Detrick, MD. Leave accrual negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Develop, analyze, and issue logistics policies for DHA and DoD components, evaluating current programs for effectiveness and compliance.
- →Manage the Shelf-Life Extension Program (SLEP) to defer drug replacement costs, serving as the primary liaison with the FDA/CDER and maintaining the annual testing schedule.
- →Direct and monitor medical logistics support to Combatant Commands and other partners.
- →Establish and manage SLEP Interagency Agreements with participating agencies.
- →Engage in long-range strategic planning for War Reserve logistics support.
- →Serve as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for the SLEP support contract.
