The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a project lead/manager to conduct comprehensive manpower requirements determination studies and organizational analyses of a wide diversity of organizations, functions, and work processes and provide management consultant capabilities to improve mission effectiveness, resource efficiency, and resource savings.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as project lead/manager, conducting organizational and process related manpower requirements determination studies of rescue and special operations aircrew training and survival school training for the entire Air Force.
- →As manpower point-of-contact for functional offices involving undergraduate rotary wing and specialized graduate fixed and rotary wing aircrew flight training, aircrew training devices, aircraft maintenance, survival school training, answers questions, interprets data, and provides background data.
- →As project lead/manager, reviews and evaluates organization structures and missions by interpreting data, process flow, organization concepts, and line/staff relationships for consistency and logic, to improve organizational efficiencies.
- →Establishes and manages a working project team of functionalists across the Air Force as well as internal analysts in conducting studies/project workshops.
- →Provides complex management support services for organization(s) whose operations are interrelated.
- →Evaluates the impact to manpower resources based on changes in regulatory and legislation requirements, long range program goals, and other critical factors to ensure mission accomplishment.
- →Advises commanders, supervisors, and managers on civilian personnel issues, including those involving organizations that have a wide range of professional, scientific, administrative, and highly technical positions, some with high-grades and technical positions in rapidly changing fields.
- →Performs research and advises on a variety of issues of a sensitive nature that concern hiring policies and procedures and related legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
