This position is located with USDA, ARS, Plains Area, National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility, Operation, Biologics Development Module, in Manhattan, KS. In this position, you will provide technical, procedural, clerical, and program and coordination support for the Biologics Development Module (BDM).
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the single control and coordination point for the timely and orderly flow of documentation and information essential to the implementation, management, and evaluation of research activities in the BDM.
- →Provides technical and analytical support (conducting qualitative and quantitative assessments) required by the BDM Director in the planning and coordinating of business management activities.
- →Provides oversight involved in support functions including financial, procurement, extramural agreements, property, and other activities Coordinates the processing of manuscripts and reports for public information, and edits material for correct structure, clarity and arrangement of format for scientific journals and other media.
- →Provides support in developing and executing the annual budget e.g., developing financial plans, monitoring spending, preparing financial reports, and reviewing for consistency, accuracy, and reporting requirements.
Requirements
- ✓You must be a US Citizen or US National.
- ✓Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
- ✓Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
