About the Role
About the Position: Serve as a Maintenance Worker for the project office to which assigned. The maintenance staff operate and maintain one or more flood control dams. Relocation and recruitment incentives may be offered to highly qualified candidates. On-site government housing may be available.
What You'll Do
- →Perform a variety of maintenance, repair and operational duties for the park office to which assigned.
- →Apply a variety of standardized methods, procedures and techniques to maintain and repair equipment.
- →Inspect circuit breakers and fuses for proper condition and size, replacing defective breakers.
- →Weld similar metal components together to fabricate or repair equipment.
- →Construct, install, repair or modify items and structures.
- →Repair, replace and maintain such things as pipe, tile, union joints, faucets and drains.
- →Dam operation: Collect humidity, temperature and wind velocity readings from weather instruments.
- →Make gate settings to regulate outflow of water.
- →Perform routine maintenance and repair.
- →Operate a variety of vehicles and vessels.
Requirements
