This position is located at the Fort Sam Houston Army Fisher House. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
What You'll Do
- →Plans the use of workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a day-to-day, project-by-project and on a week-to week and month-to-month basis.
- →Investigates works related problems such as excessive costs or low productivity and determine causes.
- →Implement corrective actions to resolve work problems.
- →Determines training needs and arranges for accomplishment of it; sets performance standards and makes formal appraisals of subordinates.
- →Measures, cuts, constructs and/or repairs wood, composite building materials, and wood substitute items where specific fit and accuracy are required within allowable limits to produce a serviceable product.
- →As needed, replaces worn or broken wall switches and outlets.
- →Replaces ceiling light and/or burned out bulbs.
- →May be required to drive vehicles up to and including a 5-ton truck to move furniture, etc., to various buildings on the installation.
