NIST is seeking Maintenance Workers to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facilities and grounds that enable critical federal research activities. This position performs maintenance, repair, landscaping, and equipment operation duties that help maintain infrastructure, utilities, and site operations. The work supports continuity of operations, emergency response readiness, and a safe environment for employees, visitors, and laboratory operations.
What You'll Do
- →The primary purpose of this position is the operation, repair, and maintenance of exterior grounds systems in a research and development facility/campus.
- →Snow removal duties can be assigned out of hours or during normal business hours as the weather events occur.
