This position is located at: Golf - Fort Polk, LA. This vacancy is in conjunction with the FMWR Job Fair on Wed, 07/29/26. Walk-ins will be accepted 9-11 am, interviews will be conducted 11-1 pm. The event will be held at the ACS Building #920 (920 Bell Richard Ave.) Applicants who attend this event will be given priority consideration. What You'll Do
- →Assists in the maintenance and repair of building interiors.
- →Patches and paints walls, replaces faucet washers, light bulbs and fuses.
- →Assists in the maintenance and repair of building exteriors.
- →Prepares surfaces for painting by applying by applying sealing compounds and primers.
- →Finishes rough edges, smoothing them with file, emery cloth and sandpaper.
- →Assists in the maintenance and repair of the grounds.
- →Cuts grass, plants, trims hedges, trees and shrubbery.
- →Dispose of trash.
- →The incumbent may be required to operate a half ton and up to a one ton motor vehicle to and from worksite to transport material and personnel.
- →If required to operate a motor vehicle, prepares trip tickets, performs driver's daily maintenance and reports any major repairs needed to supervisor.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
