This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at Pine Bluff Arsenal. This position serves as a Maintenance Mechanic upkeeping the buildings, grounds and related structures for the Arsenal.
What You'll Do
- →Lays brick to repair various structures.
- →Plans work in accordance with drawings and blueprints.
- →Performs welder duties using electric, acetylene and/or inert gas shielded welding processes.
- →Opens roofs to install pipes assuring final work is waterproof.
- →Determines if disassembly or repair is necessary and the materials to be used.
