About the Role
You will serve as a Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor with National Park Service overseeing the maintenance, cleaning, repair, and preservation of built structures such as buildings, docks, and boardwalks. Facilities are located in Bartlett Cove, Gustavus, Yakutat, Dry Bay and Juneau, AK. This position is located in the Glacier Bay National Park preserve, in Gustavus, Alaska Salary Range Information: State of Alaska (Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau)(AK) Wage Area WS-4947-09: $49.22 - $57.41 per hour.
What You'll Do
- →Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Supervise a building's maintenance shop.
- →Supervise a ground's maintenance crew.
- →Supervise a custodial services program.
- →Serve as a long term maintenance/construction project management.
- →Budgeting, Planning and Administration of a maintenance operation.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- ✓Direct Deposit participation required.
- ✓Successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
