Lead the maintenance team that keeps healthcare facilities safe, operational, and mission-ready. As the Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor, you'll oversee maintenance and repair operations, supervise skilled trades employees, and help ensure a safe, reliable environment that supports quality patient care at the Pawnee Indian Health Center in Pawnee, Oklahoma. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →As the Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor, you will: Plan, assign, supervise, and evaluate the work of maintenance employees performing building, utility system, and equipment maintenance and repair.
- →Coordinate preventive maintenance, repair projects, and daily work operations to ensure healthcare facilities and building systems remain safe, reliable, and operational.
- →Provide technical guidance and training in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and building maintenance while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- →Monitor work progress, prioritize assignments, manage materials and equipment, and coordinate maintenance activities with health center staff and contractors.
- →Assist with planning budgets, preventive maintenance programs, service contracts, and facility improvement projects to support efficient operations.
- →Perform journeyman-level maintenance work as needed and serve as the acting Facility Manager in their absence to ensure continuity of maintenance, safety, and security operations.
Requirements
