Serves as a Maintenance Mechanic in the Engineering Department of the Hale Koa Hotel. This announcement is open to current Hale Koa Hotel employees only.
What You'll Do
- →Works as a member of the Engineering team.
- →Operating Engineer monitors the building for safe conditions and proper functioning of building systems, fixtures, hardware and performs reactive/preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
- →Operating Engineer must be able to understand, operate and maintain building management system controls.
- →Must be able to keep plant and equipment in a safe, clean and orderly environment.
- →Essential Functions: Primary responsibilities are daily maintenance, tuning, monitoring, controlling, troubleshooting and repair of physical plant systems and equipment.
- →Additional responsibilities include keeping a spare parts inventory, maintenance, planning/scheduling, inspections, record keeping and reporting.
- →Engineer maintains logs, tools and orders supplies as required for various building repairs.
- →Physical Plant Systems include (but not limited to): Fire life safety, Fire monitoring systems, Potable Water Systems, pneumatics, Chilled water loop/HVAC and Alternative power sources.
- →Primary equipment of responsibility: Fire Pumps, Generators, Chillers, cooling towers, Boilers, storage tanks, compressors, pumps, etc.
- →Adhere to all work order policies and procedures.
