About the Role
About the Position: This position is established to serve as a Maintenance Mechanic to perform journey level repair duties in a variety of trades and crafts areas to primarily include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing. This employee may work alone or as a member of a team providing work direction to lower graded employees when required. The position is located within Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Troubleshoot problems, determine repairs, plan sequences of work, and make the necessary repairs.
- →Work from blueprints and drawings in order to determine where new electrical systems are to be installed.
- →Determine such factors as load, demand, wire size, breaker size, and other such factors in order to provide proper balance in the new or existing system Install, modify, and repair new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems and equipment.
- →Repair small to large commercial and industrial heating units such oil/gas fired furnaces and hot water or steam boilers.
