About the Position: Serves as the Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) in the Operations Branch with responsibility for technically representing the Branch in the evaluation of contractor performance.
What You'll Do
- →Organize, administer, and evaluate the contracted services and quality assurance program for the Operations Branch.
- →Develop documentation to support requests for resources to include preparation of specifications, scopes of work, cost estimates, justifications, and requisitions which comply with cost-of-service requirements.
- →Monitor contractor performance for compliance with terms and conditions of contract.
- →Works with Operations Supervisors and technical experts within the District and Region to develop effective and efficient Operational Management Plans (OMP) for flood control structures, channels, and facilities.
- →Promotes acceptance, understanding, and compliance of Government policies and objectives in meeting the needs of the general public with respect to maintenance and operation of flood control structures and channel areas.
