What You'll Do
- →Operates a motorized truck to pick up and deliver mail and packages from the mail screening facility to the Senate mailroom and other service locations.
- →Inspects work vehicle, identifies and reports wear and tear, and reports maintenance concerns.
- →Ensures, through management, that mail and packages have been properly screened and labeled prior to loading the vehicle for delivery.
- →On occasion, may operate specialized mail and package processing equipment and machinery used to help detect potentially hazardous materials or substances.
- →Uses mobile computer for package delivery accountability.
- →Transports staff to pulmonary appointments and training.
- →Other duties as assigned.
